Three children were among the dead. The missile attacks included the first one against Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital, in nearly two months, although there were no reports of any targets hit. THE HAGUE, Netherlands (AP) — A Dutch court on Friday banned a man from donating any more of his sperm after he fathered at least 550 children in the Netherlands and other countries and misled prospective parents about the number of offspring he helped to conceive.A judge at The Hague District Court ordered the halt in an injunction brought by the parents of a child conceived with the donor’s sperm and a foundation representing other parents. The court noted that under Dutch guidelines, sperm donors are allowed to produce a maximum of 25 children with 12 mothers and that the donor lied to prospective parents about his donation history. The donor, identified as Jonathan M. under Dutch privacy guidelines, provided sperm to several Dutch fertility clinics and to a clinic in Denmark as well as to many other people he connected with through advertisements and online forums, the court said in its written judgment. The donor’s lawyer said in a court hearing that he wanted to help parents who ...What to know about tick, Lyme disease season after a mild winter

PORTLAND, Maine (AP) — After a mild winter in the U.S., will there be an uptick in ticks this year?Researchers say it is hard to predict how the tick season will play out. This year’s mild winter and early snow melt, though, could mean more ticks earlier than usual and a wider spread of Lyme disease and other tick-borne diseases, scientists said.In Connecticut, ticks are showing up in greater numbers this year, according to Goudarz Molaei, a tick expert for the state. So far, more than 700 ticks have been sent in for a testing program that normally would have gotten 200 to 300 by now. The state typically sees a lot of Lyme disease, which got its name from a Connecticut town. This undated photo provided by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) shows a blacklegged tick, which is also known as a deer tick. Ticks will be more active than usual early in spring 2023, and that means Lyme disease and other tick-borne infections could spread earlier and in greater numbers ...New sneaker caucus launched in House

I have been offered a job by a competing company for more money than what I make now. However, that company has a very strict dress code of business professional. The office I work in now pays less, but I can wear whatever I like to work, within reason. I love that another company respects my work, but the thought of having to buy new clothes and dress up for work gives me some anxiety. I'm just a relaxed kind of person.
